Privacy

The short version: Honey‑Do has no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Your projects live on your iPhone. The only time anything leaves the device is when you ask an AI provider to generate a plan.

What stays on your phone

Everything you make in the app — project photos, requests, checklists, blueprints, honey points, and the running ledger of what each AI request cost — is stored in the app's own documents folder on your device. API keys you enter are stored in the iOS Keychain, encrypted by the system. None of it is sent to us. We run no accounts and keep no copy.

What leaves your phone, and when

When you generate a plan with your own API key, the photo you chose and the text of your request are sent directly from your phone to the AI provider you selected — OpenAI, Google, or OpenRouter — using your key. There is no Galt Software server in between, so we never see your photos or requests. What the provider does with them is governed by that provider's own privacy policy and the terms of your account with them.

Demo mode makes no network requests at all.

The Hive subscription

When the Hive is available, plan generation for subscribers runs through our relay instead: your photo and request pass through our server to the AI provider and are not stored beyond what is needed to process that request. Your subscription status is confirmed with Apple; we still hold no account for you and collect nothing else.

Purchases

All purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We receive aggregate sales reports from Apple, never your payment details or your identity.

Deleting your data

Delete a project and it is gone from your device. Delete the app and everything goes with it, apart from Keychain entries, which you can remove from Settings inside the app first. There is nothing to ask us to delete, because we never had it.

Changes

If the app ever starts handling data differently — for instance when the Hive launches — this page will change first, with a new effective date at the top.
